Production Equipment Technician - (On-Site)

Our client is seeking a Production Equipment Technician to support maintenance and reliability of high-speed production equipment in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully on-site role where you will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

In this position, you will maintain a variety of production systems, including equipment related to file-based data storage and retrieval. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and experienced in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues efficiently.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure reliability and uptime
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, responding promptly to technical support calls
• Log all service activity, time, and parts usage in a technician tracking system (e.g., FIIX)
• Install electrical wiring, controls, and production-related equipment
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware connected to production systems
• Assist with relocation and installation of new or existing production equipment
• Track parts usage and provide recommendations for inventory levels
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Collaborate with team members to support a positive work environment
• Provide feedback to leadership regarding junior technician performance as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Experience repairing and maintaining high-speed production equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service bulletins
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under time constraints and follow direction
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 25+ lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Vendor or equipment repair certification for insertion platforms such as BlueCrest, Bowe, or Buhrs

Additional Information
Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & alternating Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Compensation: $49,920 – $54,080 annually  (Depending on experience and qualifications)
