Job Title: Production Floater
Location: Cold Spring, MN
Compensation: $20.00–$25.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and Weekend Shift
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-time
About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Production Floater workers for a granite manufacturing company in Cold Spring, MN. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality granite products while supporting a skilled, team-oriented production environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning new equipment, and working with your hands in a manufacturing setting, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information!
What You’ll Do as a Production Floater:- Load and unload granite materials into production machines
- Read production tickets and gather correct products and patterns
- Use overhead cranes to move materials in and out of machines
- Operate CNC machines, with training available for setup and programming
- Finish and polish final granite products
What You Need to Bring to the Production Floater Role:- Must have at least 1 year of machine operating experience in the last 3 years
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Must have basic computer and math skills
- Must have strong attention to detail (hands-on or mechanical hobbies a plus)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to work in multiple production areas and collaborate as part of a team
- Good color perception (must not be color blind or color deficient)
- Willingness to wear required safety gear, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
- No CNC experience required – training provided
