Position Description:

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials, cores, finished products, and freight throughout the facility.
• Keep machines supplied with the correct materials and ensure finished products are properly packed and prepared for shipment.
• Assist with finishing, packaging, stacking, labeling, dipping, gluing, and assembling products as needed.
• Read and follow job cards, process sheets, and work instructions.
• Load and unload materials, organize storage areas, and protect inventory from damage.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, forklift drivers, and shipping personnel.
• Cross-train and assist in production areas as needed.
• Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, working at heights, and lifting up to 70 lbs. regularly, with occasional lifting up to 90 lbs. with assistance.
• Minimum 6-day, 6–6.5 hour/day work schedule; possible overtime required.
