The Production Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift throughout the production area while following all applicable safety regulations.

SOPs are critical to meet customer specifications and maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Operator's manual available on each line.
Ensures that all tasks and functions of position are performed in a safe manner at all times and that all procedures and requirements are properly followed to accomplish assigned tasks.
Responsible for food safety and quality as well as reporting food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority if unable to initiate action.
In the absence of this position, another qualified Forklift Operator or Back-up Forklift Operator shall cover the absence.
HS Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to attend all job related training classes to increase job knowledge and improve job performance. This also encourages confidence and sense of accomplishment.
Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures and customer specifications. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts using calculator.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Data entry helpful.
Successful completion of company forklift certification. Valid Driver's License.
As required to attend off site training.
