Production Helper

Our client, a leading organization in the construction and manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Production Helper to join their team.  As a Production Helper, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting the efficient handling and processing of wood / construction products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Production Helper

Location: Athens, NY

Pay Range: $19.00 per hour with overtime as needed.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
 

What's the Job?

• Manually unload product from trucks and restack according to client specifications
• Work collaboratively with team members to remove lumber from delivery stacks and count based on order requirements
• Place sticks between lumber stacks to aid in drying and preservation
• Ensure proper handling of lumber, lifting up to 30 lbs comfortably
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the lumber yard

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for entire shift
• Comfort working in a manual labor environment
• Reliable and punctual attendance
• Ability to work well within a team
• No prior experience required; training will be provided
