Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.Job DescriptionBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Production Control Coordinator to support the site at Jacksonville, Florida.Position ResponsibilitiesProcesses and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructionsMonitor work in processCommunicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availabilityIdentifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processesCoordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delaysWorks under general supervisionBasic QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholdersMinimum 2 years working with or within one of the following: MRO operations (maintenance, repair, and overhaul), materials management, supply chain, and/or production control, in aviation environmentMinimum 2 years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)Strong communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and strong drive for process improvementAbility to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
