Job Description

JOB TITLE: Production Associate
Reports To: Shift Supervisor or Shift Leader
Prepared by: ADP Resource

SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for operating and tending one or more plastic injection molding machines according to production standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions
- Operate semi-automatic plastic injection molding machines
- Inspect parts for defects
- Notify quality/manufacturing of problems
- Remove flash or gate vestige using tools
- Empty ground material from grinders
- Collect finished goods and weigh for shipping quantities
- Bag, seal, box, and shrink wrap goods
- Rework or segregate non-conforming parts
- Follow ISO 9001:2015 procedures

Must maintain punctuality and meet attendance standards and deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 months related experience or training

Manufacturing software, inventory systems, and email

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent standing, walking, and hand use
- Lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Vision: close, distance, color, depth perception

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Exposure to heat, fumes, vibration
- Moderate noise environment
