Production Lead (2nd Shift)

Our client in Mentor OH isseeking an experiencedProduction Leadto oversee 2nd shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have previous leadership or supervisory experience along with a strong background in fabrication and production processes. This role is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and promoting a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support production employees during assigned shift.
• Coordinate workflow and prioritize production schedules to meet customer demands.
• Monitor quality, efficiency, and productivity throughout the manufacturing process.
• Train, coach, and assist team members with daily operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and communicate with management regarding operational concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with fabrication processes, equipment operation, and production setup as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and shift reports.

Qualifications

• Previous Production Lead, Supervisor, or Team Lead experience in manufacturing required.
• Fabrication experience strongly preferred. (TIG Welding preferred)
• Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical job duties throughout the shift.
