Sensical Inc. is a manufacturing company specializing in high-quality components for the automotive industry. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Production Lead to support our 2nd Shift production team.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will help lead a team of 20+ employees, including temporary team members, while working closely with the Production Supervisor to keep the production floor safe, organized, and running efficiently.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM
Occasional Friday hours may be required based on production needs.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and support a team of 20+ employees on the production floor.
Communicate daily assignments, priorities, and production expectations.
Monitor production, quality, safety, attendance, and workflow.
Help train and onboard new employees.
Coach employees on attendance, performance, safety, and quality.
Communicate employee or production concerns to the Production Supervisor.
Support the Production Supervisor with daily staffing and production needs.
Help identify and resolve issues that may affect production, quality, or safety.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
Lead by example with a hands-on presence on the production floor.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Manufacturing experience required; compression molding experience is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to lead, coach, and hold employees accountable.
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production needs.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screenings.
