SUMMARY: The Production Lead is responsible for ensuring the production team is actively engaged and striving to meet daily customer demands and production schedules. The Production Lead provides effective Assembler training while ensuring both safety and quality standards are maintained at all times. The Production Lead will perform a series of operations using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, test stations, work instructions, bills of materials, and engineering drawings to assemble and test industrial print systems and packaging equipment. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. This individual may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training to work within specialty areas. Requires 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and manage/lead a team of direct reports. Performs a variety of tasks.
