SUMMARY
Team leader coordinates and leads performance of production personnel and processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the supervision of 10 to 25 employees on the production line.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of operations and/or lean experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with the manufacturing industry and the related business processes. Intermediate to advanced PC skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to groups of employees or others outside the department. Must be able to read and understand English.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability to proficiently operate a PC computer, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to draft emails, work in spreadsheets, and create graphs. Ability to navigate network directories and learn to perform duties in enterprise ERP software system.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to interpret company and departmental financial data.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to read and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve problems involving several variables in various situations.
