Essential Functions – Responsibilities
Saw Operator – Frame & Sash: Operates saw equipment to cut frame and sash components to specified dimensions, verifies measurements, and ensures accuracy and quality according to production specifications.
Midrail Operator: Installs midrail components into window frames or sashes, ensuring proper alignment, secure attachment, and compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
FlexScreen Operator: Operates and monitors the automated flex screen production line, verifies machine settings, and ensures finished screens meet product specifications and quality standards.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Experience
Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required. On‑the‑job training provided. Training includes equipment operation, work processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Skills
Ability to understand English and follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills for measurements and documentation.
Ability to identify correct materials, profiles, and components.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate simple machinery and computer interfaces.
Strong attention to detail and quality inspection ability.
Ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain accuracy.
Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow direction from supervisors.
Willingness to learn and operate multiple machines, trainable for various jobs throughout the plant.
Work Environment & PPE
Fast‑paced production environment; some areas may involve heat or working with sharp materials.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and handle large pieces of glass.
Must be able to operate equipment such as saws, welders, drills, screw guns, punches, and end mills (training provided).
