Production Line Lead - Henderson

 
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
Properly inspect and or correct product to clients’ special needs.  Line leads help general warehouse and production staff meet daily production goals under the supervision of the Production Line Manager.  
 
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.
• Learn, follow, and communicate the company’s policy, quality, production, and safety procedures.
• Help monitor and facilitate the efficient flow of goods through production lines.
• Ensure quality of workmanship by production employees and correcting performance as needed.
• Verify employees are meeting hourly production goals and updating managers concerning performance throughout the day.
• Identify any production line issues that are occurring throughout the day and alerting managers as needed.
• Work with other Team members to achieve good communications and teamwork.
• Main job functions could include, but not be limited to:
o Ensuring correct packaging and labeling of products.
o Packing, unpacking, cleaning, assembly, cutting, stitching, and inspecting of products (note:  projects may require to wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at timeswhich could include but not be limited to latex gloves, dust mask, aprons, safety glasses). 
• Must be able tolerate cleaning agents, general purpose cleaners, solvents, anti-microbial cleaners etc.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
 
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in warehouse or production environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Have good attention to detail.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to perform repetitious work and stand throughout an eight-hour shift.  Overtime may be required occasionally.
• Bilingual.
