Production Line Mechanic B

This is a hands-on opportunity for a versatile maintenance professional who enjoys diagnosing problems and working across a variety of production systems.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Set up, start up, troubleshoot, and repair production and processing equipment, including rotary, piston, Packette, and tube fillers.
-Maintain and repair labelers, ink jet coders, mixing vessels, pumps, steam piping, copper piping, water systems, and related equipment.
-Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently to minimize production downtime.
-Work independently and as part of a team while maintaining organized, consistent, and detail-oriented work practices.
Requirements
-High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of related mechanical maintenance experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Proficiency with basic hand tools, pipe fitting, electrical systems, and equipment diagnostics.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow established procedures and work with minimal supervision.
-Valid United States work authorization and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods.
Preferences
-Experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing, production, or processing environment.
-Ability and willingness to work overtime and adapt to changing maintenance priorities.
Pay Rate Range 28-30 per hour
