Production Line Service Operator

The position exists to support the operation of a production or filter line (maker or packer, including auxiliary equipment). Role includes basic adjustments, stocking up consumables, loading / unloading materials, cleaning of the line equipment and surrounding area to ensure smooth production as per the required output and product quality standards. As a service operator, you will assist the line operator in minor preventive maintenance activities and creation of standards for your equipment.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Support qualified operator of a machine type: Supporting the qualified machine operator, enabling timely production of product as well as the packaging of products according to client’s quality standards requirements at the lowest possible cost. Take ownership for the basic manual operations of the line such as loading, unloading of filters, palletizing & tobacco feeding etc (as applicable
- Cleaning & Reporting: Supporting to execute timely cleaning and basic adjustments of the machine according to client’s standards. Correct reporting of wastes, machine downtimes, breakdowns and material usage if applicable.
- Replenishment of consumables / materials: Using the right materials as per the product specifications and checking the materials at the beginning of each shift, as well as changing of product at the machine/line when required.
