Production Assembler
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Possible OT including Saturdays
Location: Littleton, CO
Position Overview
We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Production Assemblers to support the manufacturing of custom-built wheelchair seating systems, including backrests and cushions. This role is hands-on and production-focused, requiring the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to build high-quality, made-to-order products.
Assemblers work as part of a team in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment where precision, consistency, and craftsmanship matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble custom wheelchair seating products according to detailed work orders and instructions
- Use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, socket wrenches, drills, saws, and sanders
- Operate production equipment including foam cutting machines, carvers, band saws, jig saws, drill presses, sanders, and grinders
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble foam and component materials to meet exact specifications
- Read and follow complex work orders, build instructions, and quality standards
- Perform visual and functional quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Follow all safety policies and report safety concerns immediately
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment
- Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable working on your feet for most of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Standing for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders (under 8 feet)
- Safety glasses required in production areas (provided)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in light manufacturing, assembly, upholstery, foam fabrication, or medical device manufacturing
- High school diploma or equivalent
