Description
Production Logistics Coordinator — Shop Support
Join Timken and help keep the world in motion. You may not recognize every bearing we build, but you’ll feel our impact—supporting machinery and vehicles across industries, from high-speed racing to exploration in space.
The mission
Keep material flowing safely and accurately so production never misses a beat. You’ll coordinate packaging, movement, and documentation for materials across our Aurora Bearing facility while learning on the job and building a long-term career.
Compensation & growth
Starting pay: $17.50–$19 per hour, based on experience.
Development: On-the-job training with advancement opportunities.
Core outcomes
Precisely package and label products; ensure correct information and careful handling.
Deliver parts to local vendors; receive, unload, and properly store incoming goods.
Operate powered industrial equipment (truck, forklift, power pallet lifter, etc.) to move materials where they’re needed.
Load and unload vehicles with the right equipment.
Execute periodic cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
Read, interpret, and complete production forms without errors.
Support shop operations working with sawing, turning, and grinding machinery.
Schedule
1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
What it takes
High School Diploma or GED.
Mechanical aptitude and confidence with shop math.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely.
Strong communicator with peers, suppliers, and plant leadership.
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
