Become a Key Player as a Production Machine Operator 1

You will operate and maintain production machinery to help the team meet daily production and quality targets. You will work onsite on first shift (M-F, 5:00am-1:30pm) and collaborate with production peers and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient operations. Your work directly impacts product quality, throughput, and workplace safety at the facility.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on production machines and test equipment
Use job travelers, blueprints, schematics, models, or specifications to perform work accurately
Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions to restore peak performance
Ensure adequate raw material stock and perform scheduled equipment maintenance
Evaluate and verify that production items meet tolerances and specifications
Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers) to ensure product quality
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards
Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work variable schedules, nights, weekends, or additional hours as necessary

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

1-2 years of experience operating machinery, preferably in a factory setting
Experience with lathes, milling machines, and stamping presses
Ability to use hand tools and perform maintenance tasks
Knowledge of tooling and ability to work with a variety of materials
Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
Basic math proficiency and strong attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience preferred)
Effective oral and written communication skills

Pay Range

$20.00/hour
