Job summary

Assists in the manufacture of medical products, under the direction of plant leadership. Operates in a timely manner, with a high regard for safety and quality, while following GMP guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up, operates, and maintains machinery, while optimizing machine capability.
  • Cleans equipment and work areas according to operating standards
  • Weighs and transports material
  • Maintains accurate and timely records
  • Participates in in-process inspection
  • Counts, packages, palletizes, labels, and sorts various products, as needed
  • Other duties, as business needs require

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work a scheduled shift, including weekends or overtime, as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions
  • Demonstrated ability to safely and efficiently operate machinery
  • Ability to quickly move hands in order to manipulate or assemble product
  • Ability to quickly and repeatedly bend, stretch, twist or reach with body, or with arms and legs throughout a shift
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 50lb
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations for medical device or pharma manufacturing helpful, but not require
