Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Production Machine Operators in Wooster. This is a hands-on manufacturing opportunity for candidates who are comfortable operating equipment, monitoring quality, troubleshooting production issues, and keeping a fast-moving production process on track.

We're especially interested in candidates with previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or equipment setup experience.

Available Shifts

1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment
• Adjust machine settings based on product specifications
• Troubleshoot issues during production runs
• Inspect finished products for size, quality, and consistency
• Monitor production flow and help keep work on schedule
• Complete required production and quality checks
• Assist and train team members on machine-related tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures

What You'll Need

• 1+ year of previous manufacturing or production experience
• Previous machine operation or equipment experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to recognize and respond to production or quality issues
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to follow written procedures and production specifications
• Dependable attendance and strong safety awareness
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing, machine operation, production equipment, converting, or similar environments is especially valuable.
