Production/Maintenance Planner

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production/Maintenance Planner to join our team in Louisville, KY, 40206. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and maintenance activities.

Partial travel is affiliated with the role. Travel pay is offered. More information will be given throuhgout the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure the availability of necessary materials and parts.
• Implement and monitor maintenance plans to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and maintenance issues promptly.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management on production and maintenance performance.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production planning or maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
