Qualified Staffing is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Austell, GA. If you have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and enjoy keeping production equipment running efficiently, we'd love to hear from you!
The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, equipment setup, and supports continuous improvement efforts to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment repairs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Participate in equipment changeovers and machine setup.
  • Install, retrofit, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of replacement parts to reduce downtime.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and GMP documentation accurately.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and equipment vendors to resolve equipment issues.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Mechanical systems, Electrical and electronics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics & Manufacturing equipment maintenance
  • Ability to read technical drawings and equipment documentation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and dependable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and work around manufacturing equipment.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery and electrical equipment.
