Production Manager - 1st Shift

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with Injection Mold/Assembly experience to join our team! The right candidate will be responsible for the operation of all production lines and the quality of output. We expect this applicant to have deep know-how in production procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements in Injection Mold production.ResponsibilitiesReports directly to the plant general production manager Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirementsEstimate costs and prepare budgetsOrganize workflow to meet specifications and deadlinesMonitor production to resolve issuesSupervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.Ensure output meets quality standardsEnforce health and safety precautionsSkillsProven experience as a leaderDeep knowledge of production managementUnderstanding of quality standards and health and safety regulationsKnowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting conceptsExperience in reporting on key production metricsProficient in MS Office and ERP softwareOutstanding communication abilityExcellent organizational and leaderships skillsAttention to detailStrong decision-making skills and a results-driven approachEducationBSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is preferredHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience5-7 years management experience requiredManufacturing experience preferred but not required
