 Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, maintaining a safe workplace, and leading multiple production departments to meet customer schedules and company goals.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily production operations and supervise multiple manufacturing departments.
Lead, coach, and develop production teams while promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
Execute production schedules to meet customer deadlines and maximize efficiency.
Monitor labor, productivity, workflow, and operational costs.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Production teams to improve processes and reduce costs.
Oversee employee training, performance management, scheduling, and workforce planning.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

8+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong background in metal fabrication, machining, or industrial manufacturing preferred.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Ability to read and interpret production drawings and manufacturing documentation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing/ERP software.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
