Job Opportunity: Production Manager
Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as a Production Manager at our Aurora location.
Job Responsibilities: - Supervise: Crew Chiefs, Operators, Rover Operators, Assistant Production Manager
- Oversee plant production
- Ensure operational consistency using training and development
- Maximize efficiency of production, production rate, and quality of products
- Perform timely evaluation of all staff by written performance evaluations
- Schedule and coordinate the daily work assignments and work shifts
- Work with payroll to achieve accurate reporting of timecards
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to the company values
- Communicate with maintenance, environmental and lab manager daily
- Respond and address complaints in a timely and courteous manner
Working Hours:
- Monday- Friday 8am-4:30 pm with additional hours required throughout the year and on a call-in basis as the plant is operational 24 hour a day, 7 days a week
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Engineering, biochemistry, or related college degree, or equivalent experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience in fuel plant supervision and process
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail oriented and multi-tasking skills essential
- Technical ability to understand ethanol production
- Experience in interviewing and selecting plant personnel
- Creating and monitoring process operations performance metrics and communication
- Candidates should possess a documented successful track record in managing process facilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
