Production Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW:

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Production Manager to oversee production operations and drive performance across safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in food or beverage manufacturing who can foster team development, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure operational excellence. The position supports facilities across the Northeast, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet or exceed safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets
• Utilize key performance indicators to monitor performance and drive improvements
• Apply root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies to resolve operational challenges
• Lead initiatives to increase throughput, eliminate waste, and improve efficiency
• Supervise, coach, and develop team members to drive engagement and performance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including GMP, SOP, OSHA, and FDA requirements
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
• Manage material availability, product quality, and on-time delivery through effective resource planning
• Facilitate regular operational reviews to align on production goals and performance
• Support new product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Lead workforce planning and training programs to support long-term growth and succession planning
• Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in food and or beverage manufacturing preferred
• Strong leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Knowledge of regulatory and quality standards within manufacturing environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and team development capabilities
