Production Manager

Job Title: Production Manager - Bakery Operations

Position Overview: The Production Manager oversees daily kitchen operations to ensure the seamless, high-quality manufacturing of our complete line of baked goods. This role bridges production and finishing teams while driving operational efficiency, safety, and product consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage and support Bakery Associates in daily tasks, fostering a culture of clear communication, teamwork, and professionalism.

Operations & Inventory Management: Enforce company standards for recipes, production processes, inventory control, and raw ingredient ordering.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the production and finishing teams to streamline workflow and maintain quality control.

Facility Standards: Maintain strict adherence to sanitation, cleanliness, and safety guidelines across all work areas.

General Operations: Perform additional operational duties as needed to support business priorities.

Qualifications & Skills

Technical Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge of cake mixing, baking, and decorating/finishing techniques.

Organizational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize competing tasks, and maintain order in a fast-paced environment.

Communication & Relationships: Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Environment: Climate-controlled facility with routine entry into a 0F walk-in freezer (appropriate cold-weather gear provided).

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch throughout the shift.

Lifting: Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Schedule: Monday through Friday days

Hours: 45-50

Rate: Negotiable based on experience
