Production Manager

Preference Employment Solutions is confidentially recruiting for a Production Manager for an organization based in Fargo, North Dakota. This position will include the responsibility of overseeing a continuous manufacturing operation. Strong people leadership skills are needed in addition to extensive knowledge in production operations.

Location: Fargo, North Dakota

Type of Position: Full Time Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, weekends as determined
Compensation: $117K - $150K DOE

Position Overview:

• 
  Plan production schedules (labor and equipment) for optimal output
  
• 
  Oversee material handling to ensure production can run smoothly
  
• 
  Ensure production meets customer quality expectations across all shifts
  
• 
  Initiate and lead process improvements
  
• 
  Maintain a safe work environment and culture
  
• 
  Review key performance indicators and communicate among leadership
  
• 
  Coordinate with Maintenance for repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment efficiencies
  
• 
  Support employee training and development
  

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:

• 
  Bachelor s or associate degree in engineering, industrial technology, manufacturing, related field, or equivalent experience
  
• 
  A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing (3 years production supervision)
  
• 
  Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of manufacturing operations, and leadership
  
• 
  Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and manufacturing system software
  
• 
  Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  
• 
  Positive team player attitude
