Production Manager Requirements

• At least 5 years of production supervisory experience at automotive manufacturing company
• Must be able to communicate in both English and Spanish
• Experience at automotive industry is preferred
• Knowledge of general stamping and press is a plus
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible on shifts

• This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

Production Manager Responsibilities Include:

• Manage a group of employees in a production area for automotive and industrial applications and coordinate all production activities and operation
• Assist in the creation and management of manufacturing processes, managing inventory, and ensuring that machines are operating properly
• Analyzing production efficiency
• Hire, Train, Observe, and develop skills of assigned employees
• Responsible for product/process quality, safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction
• Implement lean manufacturing concepts as applicable including: kaizen, Kanban, poke yoke, 5S, etc.
• Drive production strategies to reduce product waste
• Communicate with team and enforce company policies and procedures
