Scheduling & Tracking: Utilize the BOSS LM software system to manage daily scheduling, track job issues, and verify the integrity of timesheets and work orders.
Equipment Oversight: Monitor equipment inventory, coordinate preventative maintenance schedules with the Operations Manager, and ensure all tools are properly serviced.
Seasonal Support: Drive company vehicles safely and collaborate with other managers to handle shifting seasonal demands, including managing snow removal operations during winter months.
Facility Security: Assist with daily facility lock-up and yard security.
Talent Acquisition: Work closely with the HR Manager to interview, hire, orient, and train new field staff and participate in our student internship training programs.
Performance Tracking: Conduct regular performance reviews for field supervisors and crew members.
Accountability: Document attendance issues, tardiness, or other necessary disciplinary actions while consistently enforcing company policies.
Team Communication: Collaborate daily with the Account Management staff regarding job site progress, updates, and field issues.
Client Relations: Maintain exceptional on-site communications and professional relations with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Enhancement Revenue: Proactively identify enhancement and extra-work opportunities on job sites to support branch sales goals.
Education: A 2-year college degree is preferred (ideally in Horticulture, Turfgrass Management, Agribusiness, or a related field).
Licensing: Valid North Carolina Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
Credentials: Must possess an NC Pesticide Applicator’s License, or have the ability to obtain one shortly after hire.
