Production Manager - Kentucky

An advanced manufacturing organization supporting next-generation energy storage technologies is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a high-performance industrial environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and supporting the production of specialty materials used in critical industrial and battery-related applications.

The successful candidate will lead site production activities while promoting a strong culture of safety, reliability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute production plans to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, and raw materials across all operating shifts.
  • Lead production quality control efforts to achieve operational and customer satisfaction objectives.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable ISO, IATF, and internal quality standards.
  • Develop and manage production budgets while controlling operating expenses and improving cost efficiency.
  • Drive operational reliability by reducing process variability and improving manufacturing consistency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production personnel while supporting performance-based management initiatives.
  • Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to align operational priorities and site objectives.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, safety, and quality management systems in accordance with applicable industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
  • Minimum of five years of manufacturing experience, including at least three years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Manufacturing process control
    • Chemical or process manufacturing operations
    • Production planning and capacity management
    • Budget development and cost control
    • Continuous Improvement methodologies
    • Product specifications and process variation control
    • Industrial safety systems and permitting processes
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
