About the Role
This role provides hands-on leadership to production supervisors and teams, ensuring smooth daily operations and preparing for a significant production line expansion. The position is crucial for building stronger systems and developing people as the organization scales rapidly, contributing directly to the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop production supervisors and hourly teams with a hands-on, people-first leadership style.
Oversee daily production operations to meet quality, safety, throughput, and efficiency targets in a USDA food manufacturing environment.
Help build and strengthen systems, processes, and operational discipline as the company scales rapidly.
Prepare people, processes, and the floor for the successful, orderly launch of the new production line.
Drive continuous improvement, problem-solving, and accountability in a fast-paced, high-change environment.
Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and other functions to support growth and protect the business as it scales.
Foster a positive, high-performance culture while coaching supervisors and developing talent.
Minimum Requirements
Mid-level supervisory/management experience with a strong track record of hands-on people leadership on the production floor.
Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred; open to strong non-traditional manufacturing backgrounds that bring clear value.
Comfortable and effective in a rapid-growth environment—able to prioritize, adapt, and help the team stay focused amid change.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Practical, systems-oriented mindset with the ability to bring structure and protection to a scaling operation without slowing it down.
Strong communication and coaching skills; able to lead by example on the floor.
