Job Description

About the role

  • Based in our DTLA office, the Production Manager will be helping drive the day-to-day operations of a global supply chain across apparel and accessories. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role for someone who thrives on keeping things moving — tracking status, solving problems in real time, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks between creative vision and customer delivery. You will work closely with vendors, cross-functional partners, and internal stakeholders to keep product on track across quality, timing, and cost. This role reports to the Sr. Manager of Production.

Key Objectives:

  • Execute the daily production operations that keep our calendar, quality, and delivery targets on track.
  • Support vendor performance management through consistent communication, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Partner proactively with cross-functional teams — PD, Sourcing, QA, and Procurement — to flag risks early and drive solutions.
  • Maintain clear, accurate visibility into development and bulk production status across all categories.

What you'll do

  • Vendor Communication & Support- Serve as a consistent point of contact for vendors on day-to-day production matters. Communicate priorities clearly, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate vendor performance issues to the Sr. Manager of Production as needed. Participate in vendor meetings and business reviews, contributing to relationship management alongside senior leadership.
  • Calendar & Delivery Tracking- Own the day-to-day tracking of production milestones across the seasonal calendar. Proactively identify delays or risks and communicate them clearly with recommended solutions. Attend and contribute to cross-functional checkpoint meetings, holding partners accountable to deadlines and following up on action items.
  • Quality Coordination- Partner with QA to coordinate third-party testing and inspection activity at vendors. Track and communicate quality results, flag issues early, and support continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with the Sr. Manager of Production.
  • Inventory & Lead Time Management- Maintain visibility into bulk production status, lead times, and key inventory milestones. Help identify opportunities to improve lead times or reduce MOQ risk in partnership with Procurement and vendors.
  • Cost Support- Assist with cost tracking and analysis across the vendor base. Flag cost variances or concerns to the Sr. Manager of Production.
  • Compliance Support- Support the team's ESG and compliance initiatives by ensuring vendor documentation, audit requirements, and compliance tracking are maintained and up to date.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with PD, Sourcing, QA, and Procurement to ensure smooth handoffs and timely decisions across the development and production process. Be a reliable, solutions-oriented partner who brings visibility and follow-through to every function they touch.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in apparel production, with at least 3 years in a manager-level or equivalent role.
  • Solid understanding of global sourcing and vendor management across multiple production regions.
  • Hands-on experience managing seasonal production calendars and delivery tracking.
  • Proficiency in PLM, ERP, G-Suite, and Excel (pivot tables, tracking tools, reporting).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented working style.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience across both apparel and accessory categories.
  • Alignment with brand aesthetic and customer.
  • Other languages are an asset.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary with a potential yearly bonus
  • Benefits package and generous discount on product.
  • A relaxed dress code with a fun and respectful workplace.
  • An appreciation for work-life balance.
  • An opportunity with a long-running, well-respected and growing company.
