We are currently working with a family-owned manufacturing company seeking a Production Manager for their Madison, WI location. This is an opportunity to lead production operations in a well-established, employee-focused environment where your impact will directly support the delivery of high-quality products.What's the role?We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven leader who can oversee daily production while driving efficiency, quality, and team performance. This role offers ownership of the full production process-from planning and scheduling to execution, team leadership, and continuous improvement.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment and enjoys optimizing processes while developing and leading a team.Key responsibilities include: Plan, organize, and manage daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of productsMonitor production processes and adjust workflows as needed to meet deadlinesCollaborate with Design and Engineering teams to ensure products meet specifications, materials, and quality standardsPartner with internal departments including customer service, purchasing, warehousing, and shippingTroubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actionsDrive production efficiency and reduce waste through continuous improvement effortsAnalyze production data and provide reports to leadershipLead and develop production staff, including hiring, training, and performance managementFacilitate daily and weekly production meetingsEnsure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policiesSupport employee engagement, morale, and recognition initiativesImplement and maintain best practices for manufacturing processesWhat experience and skills do I need to be successful?Proven experience in production or operations managementStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesKnowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standardsStrong communication and organizational skillsExperience with production management tools and ERP systemsBroad knowledge of manufacturing processes and materialsBachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, business, or a related field preferredWork Environment & Equipment: Clean manufacturing and office environmentLight manufacturing and warehouse settingExposure to a variety of manufacturing processes and materialsGreat Perks and Benefits:This position offers a competitive salary and full benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) with employer matchLife and disability insuranceOpportunities for growth and professional developmentWhat will my schedule look like?This is a full-time, onsite role working Monday through FridaySo how can I be considered for these opportunities?The first step is applying with your resume.
