Injection Molding | Leadership Development | Path to Plant Manager
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established plastics manufacturer seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations at a growing injection molding facility.
This is much more than a traditional production management role. This hire is a succession plan to develop into the Plant Manager role in 4 years. The successful candidate will gain exposure to all aspects of running a manufacturing operation while leading daily production.

Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery and productivity objectives.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation.
Coach, mentor and develop supervisors and production personnel.
Optimize labor utilization, workflow and manufacturing efficiency.
Partner with Scheduling, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Customer Service to ensure customer expectations are met.
Support new product introductions and manufacturing process improvements.
Monitor production metrics including efficiency, scrap, quality and labor performance.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Strong leadership experience within an injection molding manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of injection molding processes, tooling and production operations.
Experience leading supervisors and production teams.
Background implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to develop people while driving operational performance.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
Base salary: $140,000-$170,000
