Production Manager, Steel Manufacturing/Processing 

Reporting to VP of Operations

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day Steel Processing operations with responsibility for safety, production, staffing, scheduling, quality, and productivity. Lead and develop a high-performing team while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of production management or operations leadership experience in metals processing, steel service centers, coil processing, or a similar industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing production schedules, staffing, and department performance.
• Knowledge of coil processing, cut-to-length, decoiling, slitting, material handling, or related manufacturing operations.
• Experience using production metrics/KPIs to improve throughput, efficiency, and quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pluses

• Experience in a steel service center environment.
• Direct experience with cut-to-length, decoiling, or slitting lines.
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or root-cause analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Bilingual communication skills.

Work Environment

Hands-on leadership role requiring regular time on the production floor in a manufacturing environment. Must be comfortable working around industrial equipment and adhering to all safety and PPE requirements.
