Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily assembly and sewing operations in a fast-paced flag and banner manufacturing facility. This role oversees a team of 20+ employees, ensuring high-quality production, efficient scheduling, and consistent on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily sewing, embroidery, and assembly operations for flags and banners
- Supervise and lead a production team of 20+ employees (staffing, scheduling, performance)
- Develop and execute production plans and schedules to meet output targets
- Optimize material flow and inventory to prevent shortages and delays
- Partner with sales and customer service to resolve quality issues
- Serve as subject matter expert on banner/flag assembly and finishing
- Maintain quality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years (5+ preferred) in production management within embroidery, textile, or sewn products manufacturing
- Hands-on experience in flag/banner assembly, embroidery, or textile finishing
- Proven leadership managing 20+ direct reports in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with production planning, scheduling, and material management
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Preferred Background:
- Embroidery shops, textile manufacturing, apparel production, or signage companies with embroidery/finishing operations
- Demonstrated success in improving production efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
