A large, well established food manufacturer in Tucker, GA is hiring a Production Manager to join their team!
This position will lead daily production operations at a growing facility and make a direct impact on safety, quality, and output. This is primarily a 1st shift role with oversight responsibility across all shifts. Salary range is $110,000–$130,000 and is a Direct Hire
Responsibilities
- Manage daily production operations for the facility
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures to support food safety, product quality, and workplace organization
- Develop KPIs and report on weekly and monthly production trends
- Provide leadership to production personnel to meet plant goals through continuous process improvement
- Drive employee engagement, training, and development to improve safety, quality, and productivity
- Develop and manage the annual production operating budget
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including OSHA, EPA, USDA, FDA, FLSA, EEO, OFCCP, and NLRB requirements
- Support the facility's food safety and quality programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Experience with food packaging equipment and packaging materials
- Strong computer skills, including experience with ERP/MRP and warehouse management systems
- Proven track record using continuous improvement tools to drive safety, quality, and financial results
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and variance reporti
