Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise production teams across multiple manufacturing lines in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Drive daily production execution to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives
  • Monitor labor utilization, equipment uptime, throughput, and operational efficiency
  • Manage, coach, and develop production supervisors and manufacturing personnel
  • Establish performance expectations and drive accountability across all production teams
  • Support hiring, onboarding, employee development, and performance management initiatives
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with Engineering to improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and process stability
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on waste reduction, cycle time improvements, and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems, process controls, documentation, and traceability requirements
  • Partner with Quality to investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Promote a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with Scheduling, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Shipping to support efficient production flow
  • Communicate production performance, operational risks, and recovery plans to leadership

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred
  • 5–10+ years of manufacturing experience within a process-driven manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of production leadership or manufacturing management experience
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with regulated manufacturing environments such as ISO or AS9100 is preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple production objectives while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Hands-on leadership style with a strong manufacturing floor presence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
