We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Production Manufacturing Manager to lead our maritime manufacturing operations with energy and precision. Duties
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of production management to meet daily, weekly, and long-term operational goals.
- Develop and execute production plans utilizing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Monitor supply chain analytics and manage supply chain operations to ensure timely procurement of materials and optimal inventory levels using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
- Oversee plant management activities including safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting to maintain smooth operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions for process enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality control, assembly, and logistics to streamline workflows and improve overall operations management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control measures, and regulatory requirements across all manufacturing processes.
- Manage production planning activities to align capacity with demand forecasts while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Utilize supply chain management tools to optimize logistics, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines.
Experience
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of ERP systems.
- Extensive knowledge of MRP systems for effective production planning and inventory control.
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong background in supply chain analytics, supply chain management, and operations management to enhance overall plant performance.
- Mechanical knowledge coupled with experience in plant management to troubleshoot equipment issues swiftly.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices within manufacturing settings.
