Production Material Handler - 1st Shift

Location: Largo, FL

Pay: $14.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Production Material Handler to join our manufacturing team in Largo, FL. In this role, you will ensure the timely movement of raw materials and finished products throughout the facility to keep production running efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Essential Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials and finished products between production areas, storage locations, and shipping.
• Keep production lines stocked with the materials needed to maintain workflow.
• Load and unload materials, products, and supplies safely.
• Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification is a plus).
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.
• Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling environment is preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
• Ability to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
