Job Description:
Now hiring Production Material Planner
Location: Knoxville, TN
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements:
- 3+ years of planning, purchasing, supply chain, or production scheduling experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- CPSM or APICS certification is a plus
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
- SAP S/4HANA experience preferred; Power BI experience is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to production efficiency and inventory management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments
Job Duties:
- Manage the flow of materials to support production schedules and customer demand
- Create monthly production plans and monitor daily production schedules
- Purchase materials and place purchase orders to ensure product availability
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain inventory within budgetary guidelines
- Ensure product supply meets customer demand targets and key performance indicators
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time and accurate deliveries
- Analyze production, inventory, and supply chain data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with customer service, manufacturing, logistics, quality, sourcing, marketing, and demand planning teams
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage planning, purchasing, and inventory activities
- Track and report supply chain performance metrics and inventory trends
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
