Production Materials and Line Changeover Specialist

Picture this: a new order is queued. You coordinate a meticulous line changeover, confirm the batch documents, and ensure the right ingredients arrive at the station. If mixing support is needed, you gather and weigh materials exactly to the recipe. You ready weigh-up or packaging machinery, double-checking each control for safety and operating conformity. Throughout, you keep Production Operators supplied so equipment stays online, document your work, and keep the area safe and clean. That’s the core of this entry-level role.

Core Duties

• Carry out comprehensive machine changeover cleaning for efficient startups.
• Obtain batch paperwork; verify correct ingredients are present at the work area.
• When required, source ingredients for mixing and weigh them precisely to meet recipe requirements.
• Set up and initiate weigh-up or packaging systems; confirm controls meet safety and operating standards.
• Promptly communicate any issues, problems, or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide timely materials and functional support to Production Operators to maintain continuous equipment operation.
• Complete and retain all required paperwork and documentation.
• Adhere to safety policies and work rules; uphold housekeeping expectations in the department.

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Frequently lift or move up to 55 pounds; occasionally handle up to 250 pounds.
• Regularly stand and walk; able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to handle tools or controls; speak and hear clearly.
• Work in environments that are usually moderate in noise with some high-noise areas.
• Properly use PPE required for the area: safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, chemical suit, gloves, aprons, etc.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience
• High School diploma or GED
