Production Materials & Data Control Analyst

What if your weekend role could keep an entire plant running smoothly? In this on-site position at PPG’s Cleveland, OH facility, you’ll ensure the right raw materials hit the right work centers, log finished goods precisely where they belong, and translate activity on the floor into accurate Oracle transactions and reports.

• You communicate clearly with operators and supervisors to drive better outcomes.

What you’ll tackle

• Partner with Production Supervisors to remove and prevent process and system failure modes that impact batch timing.
• Execute Oracle Inventory Management and Batch Execution steps to issue, move, and receive materials accurately.
• Post finished product receipts to designated warehouses and compile production/inventory reports.
• Document operator challenges, prioritize them by impact, and implement solutions.
• Take on additional assignments from the Production Superintendent or Supervisor.

Schedule and reporting line

Weekend Day Shift — Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 12-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will report to the Production Superintendent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in operations or lean manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Oracle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to foster team effectiveness.
• Proficiency desired in: Lean Manufacturing Principles; High School/GED; Bachelor’s Degree.
