General Labor – Mixing | 1st Shift | Lake County, OH
Inova Staffing is hiring for a General Labor – Mixing position with one of our manufacturing clients in Lake County. This is a great opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience who are looking to learn a specialized production process. Previous chemical or material mixing experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
Shift & Pay:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7: 00 AM – 5: 00 PM
- Pay: $16.00+ per hour, increase based on experince
- Overtime: Fridays, 7: 00 AM – 3: 00 PM, as needed
- Breaks: Two paid 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch
Job Duties:
- Assist operators with preparing and mixing compounded materials
- Weigh and stage raw materials for production
- Pump mixed product into 55-gallon drums and move materials throughout the department
- Print and apply labels to finished products
- Clean mixers, mixer components, mixing cans, and work areas
- Support changeovers, packaging, and production operations
- Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping and mopping
- Complete production documentation and daily production sheets
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Chemical or material mixing experience preferred, but willing to train
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working around mixing equipment
- Ability to bend, stoop, and work in and around machinery
- Strong attendance and reliability are essential
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures
