Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality duct work, is seeking a Production Worker to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for producing duct work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Manually assemble sheet metal duct components and fittings according to work orders or diagrams
Measure, mark, and cut sheet metal pieces using hand tools such as snips, tape measures, and markers
Apply sealant or tape to seams and joints to ensure airtight construction
Attach labels, tags, or job information to completed parts
Inspect materials and finished products for defects or damage before moving to staging area
Stack, bundle, and move finished products to designated staging or shipping areas
Maintain a clean and organized work area; remove scrap and debris regularly
Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Support the team with general production duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in a production, manufacturing or construction setting
Ability to read and follow basic instructions and diagrams
Basic measurement skills and use of hand tools
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Team-oriented attitude and dependable attendance
Monday-Friday
• 1st Shift 6am-430pm (Must plan to stay until 430 but when not busy may leave earlier (2:30PM)
Rate: $14/hr
