Standard Job Description
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
You will be the Production Operations Project Manager, supporting the IRST Programs, within the Sensors and Global Sustainment Line of Business. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products to our customers, meeting quality, cost, and schedule commitments, and driving operational excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
As as a part of the Production Operations project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of production, serving as a liaison between program management, cross-functional teams, and factory leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
Basic Qualifications
Experience in precision / highly-regulated, production, manufacturing, and/or manufacturing environments
Technical background and experience in engineering, project management, supply chain, and/or production planning and control.
Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization to build consensus, champion change, and deliver results.
Ability to achieve objectives through influence and indirect leadership.
Desired Skills
Project management training or certification.
Aerospace and Defense production experience.
Lean Six Sigma green belt or black belt.
Familiarity with AS9100 and other defense quality standards.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
