Handle and distribute materials from the shipping department.
Conduct inventory, shipments, and supplies throughout the plant and warehouse.
Pack wooden/overpack boxes and load customer orders onto trucks for shipment.
Operate industrial lift truck equipment safely and proficiently.
Use a computer, preferably Oracle, for data input using a Warehouse Management System.
Use scanners to accurately pull and stock parts in warehouse locations.
Manage shipping/receiving of outgoing and incoming materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
Complete production and quality assurance forms.
Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions.
Engage in continuous improvement activities or events as required.
Adhere to Quality Management System Requirements.
Read and comprehend procedures written in English.
Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED.
Minimum 1 year in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Ability to operate a computer to read and input data using a Warehouse Management System.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Must be able to work overtime.
Ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems.
Preferred Skills:
Minimum 2 years of forklift experience.
