Location: 8400 S. Stewart Avenue, Chicago, IL 60620

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $20/hr on W2 (including all benefits)

Shift: (07:00 AM - 03:30 PM [Lunch: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM])

" Adheres to all required safety and PPE protocols when performing essential and non-essential duties.
" Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
" Determines method of shipment.
" Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
" Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.
" Inserts items into containers.
" Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape.
" Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. Enters weights in OSS.
" Unpacks and examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages, and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing if there is any. Enters receipts in oracle.
" Routes items to departments.
" Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
" Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
" Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
" Perform 5S functions to ensure safety, quality and performance is achieved.
