If you can assign work with precision, switch seamlessly between English and Spanish, and keep a fabrication floor running smoothly, this role is for you. You’ll support department leadership while driving safety, quality, accuracy, and output—every single shift.

What you’ll do

  • Lead a production team to meet manufacturing standards and goals.
  • Plan and allocate tasks by workload and priority; keep the schedule on track.
  • Expedite work orders across the process to minimize delays.
  • Track and report production quantities, downtime, and material usage with accuracy.
  • Inspect equipment regularly; coordinate fixes with maintenance and engineering.
  • Monitor process efficiency, product quality, and safety compliance.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols across the shift.
  • Train and upskill employees on safety, techniques, and equipment operation.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control and Logistics to ensure smooth flow and on-time delivery.
  • Continuously reduce scrap and rework while maximizing resources.
  • Perform other improvement-focused duties as needed.

What you bring

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or higher in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with production scheduling software or ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and a sharp eye for quality.

Working here

  • Environment: Indoor manufacturing with stamping presses, roll formers, laser cutting, and standard sheet metal fabrication equipment.
  • Physical: Lift up to 50 lbs; repetitive hand use with simple grasping; push/pull up to 50 lbs; standing, lifting, bending, twisting, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching above shoulders, climbing.
  • Team: You’ll directly lead machine operators, assemblers, and other production staff.
  • Shift: Third shift leadership.
